Looking forward to my exhibit opening on November 17 at Montgomery College, Rockville, MD!     This project was installed at Howard County Center for the Arts Annual Resident Artists Exhibition in May - June 2015. The fungi pieces are screenprint monotypes, cut out and shaped to pop out like shelf fungi.   ArtReach Festival, June 20, 2015, 11 AM – 4 PM, Long Reach Village Center, Columbia, MD I will be at the ArtReach festival this Saturday with a woodcut demo and drop-in printing. Anyone can stop by and pull a print from carved woodblocks!  Hope to see you there!

I'm a woodblock printmaker who is committed to a non-toxic (or less toxic) art practice. I started out as a painter but found my way to printmaking through a love of paper and process. I seem to be falling for papermaking in the same way. I went to Syracuse University, where I studied painting (BFA) and museum studies (MA). I was a Resident Artist at the Howard County Center for the Arts for five years and previously worked at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
